Project Budgets

Project Budgets are costs and hours independent of their funding source.  Project Budgets are designed to reflect a project managers perspective and are a tool for capturing the planned activity and costs for an entire project.  Budgets are user defined and reflect the expected amounts for planning purposes.  Using the auto calculate amount option will allow eFAACT to calculate the invoiced burden based on the contract definition.

The top grid is the Budget Contract Summary including Variance amounts.  Click the pencil icon next to the contract to edit the Budget cycle, level and end date.  Changing a budget cycle or level will remove all existing budgets for the selected contract.

The bottom grid is the Budget Detail for the selected date range.

The +Add Budget icon is used to enter in a new budget for the selected contract (top grid contract selection controls add tasks in pop up).  The +Add will be disabled if the contract budget end date has expired (end date is maintained in top grid per contract).

Click pencil icon to edit existing budget in details section.  Using the "auto-calculate amount" checkbox on edit will calculate the invoiced burden based on the contract definition.

The + Jumpstart budget is used to create a line for each active authorization for the selected contract.  Once the line is added to budget detail, use the pencil icon to enter additional information/values.

Check/Uncheck the different "show" options to control your budget detail display used for review/edits.
